AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Our Purpose

The Business & Hoteliers Stakeholders Forum (BHSF) is a professional private-sector organization established to unite, represent, protect and promote the interests of business owners, hoteliers, hospitality operators, entrepreneurs, investors and other private-sector stakeholders.

BHSF seeks to build a stronger, more organized, ethical, innovative, connected and economically productive business community by creating opportunities for advocacy, business networking, professional development, market expansion, access to finance, investment, workforce development, information sharing and strategic partnerships with government and other institutions.
 

1. BUSINESS ADVOCACY AND REPRESENTATION

To collectively advocate, represent and protect the legitimate interests, rights and welfare of business owners, hoteliers and private-sector stakeholders at local, state, national and international levels.
 

2. PROTECTION OF BUSINESS INTERESTS

To promote a business environment where members are protected from unlawful practices, unfair treatment, illegal extortion, unauthorized charges and unjust or excessive taxation, while encouraging members to comply with all legitimate statutory obligations.
 

3. ONE VOICE FOR BUSINESS

To provide a unified platform through which businesses can communicate their concerns, recommendations and challenges to government, regulatory authorities, financial institutions and other relevant stakeholders.

To create meaningful networking opportunities among members and facilitate strategic partnerships, referrals, joint ventures, collaborations and business-to-business relationships that promote mutual growth.

To facilitate access to legitimate financing opportunities by connecting qualified and finance-ready businesses with commercial banks, microfinance institutions, development-finance institutions, investment funds, cooperatives and other recognized financial partners.

To identify, document and promote credible investment opportunities within hospitality, tourism, agriculture, manufacturing, real estate, construction, entertainment, technology, logistics and other productive sectors.

To create opportunities for members to expand their markets locally, nationally and internationally through business exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, digital platforms, strategic partnerships and market-access programmes.

To encourage and support businesses with export potential by promoting export-readiness, professional documentation, packaging, standards awareness, market research, buyer connections and access to legitimate international markets.
